Unclean does not equate to sin. Abomination is not equal to sin. However each carries a danger to the human condition by way of diseases should we eschew the warnings. Aids, syphilis, gonorhea, crabs all became household words because of filthy sexual practices. By extention it becomes a sin unto the human body. Marriage becomes the life giving route for humanity. If that isnt enough, get a second (says the prophet).

Leviticus 15:9
When a woman has her monthly period, she is unclean for seven days.

Numbers 19:11
Whoever touches a human corpse will be unclean for seven days.

Leviticus 15:18
When a man has sexual relations with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both of them must bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.

Being unclean in itself is not sin. Those examples above prove it.
